Terms of Supply
It is important that you review these terms and conditions of supply carefully before placing your order. These terms and conditions govern the sale and delivery of any products that you purchase from us. By ordering any of our products, you are indicating that you accept and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
By placing an order on our site, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms of supply. These terms and conditions are essential for our mutual protection and form a legal agreement between us. Please do not proceed with your order if you do not accept these terms and conditions.
1. Terms of Supply
1.1 These terms explain our identity, the process of delivering Products to you, the ways that you or we can change or cancel the contract for the Products, the steps to take if there is an issue with your order and other relevant information.
1.2 This “Agreement” governs the relationship between us and you regarding the provision of Products and related services. In case of any inconsistency between the above terms and conditions/policy and this Terms of Supply, the latter shall prevail.
1.3 It is essential to read these terms cares for the reasons below:
1.3.1 Some of the provisions in this agreement are intended to reduce the risk of legal claims or damages that may arise from the use of our services or products, or from the actions or omissions of third parties that are beyond our control. These terms may limit our risk or liability or the risk or liability of a third party.
1.3.2 These terms may create risk or liability for you as a customer
1.3.3 You also acknowledge that some of these terms may compel you to indemnify us or a third party in case of any breach or violation on your part.

3. How the contract is formed between yourself and Salton Sync
3.1 Signing: By sending a Data Message or clicking on “I accept” “Register” or “Submit” or “Continue to Payment”, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Supply. No electronic signature is necessary to make this contract valid and binding between us.
3.2 Age: You must be at least 18 years old to order from our site. If you are under 18, you can only use our site and place your order with the permission of your parent or legal guardian. Placing an order confirms that you have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3.3 Your cart: When you add products in your cart and not finish the purchase cycle, it does not constitute as an order. You have to complete the purchase cycle to place an order for a Product. If you leave the Product in the shopping cart, it may be removed or the price may change (we may not notify you). We and our suppliers are not responsible if the Product is out of stock or has a different price when you try to buy it later.
3.4 Acceptance of your order. We will process your order as soon as we receive your payment at our Premises. You can expect a confirmation email or phone call from us to verify your payment. Please note that no contractual relationship has been established between us at this point. Please refer to 3.5.
3.5 When the contract is formed: A contract shall be formed between us upon our receipt of your payment and your receipt of our acceptance of your order. Please note this is only after the funds have been cleared.
3.6 Your Order Number:Your order will receive an order/reference number when we accept it. Please refer to the number when you contact us about your order.
3.7 Product Terms and Conditions: Some Products may require you to agree to additional terms and conditions before you can place your order. These Product specific terms and conditions will be shown to you before you confirm your offer and should be read together with these Terms of Supply.
3.8 If we can’t accept or deliver your order: In the event that your order cannot be processed or delivered by us, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of the payment that we have received from you in cleared funds. There are several possible reasons why we cannot fulfill your order. Some of them are: the Product(s) you ordered are not available, we have encountered unforeseen or unavoidable difficulties in our operations, we have made a mistake in the price or description of the Product(s), or we cannot meet your requested delivery or performance date.
3.9 We only sell our Products in South Africa through our website and related services. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot process orders with delivery addresses outside the Republic of South Africa.
4. Product description
4.1 The colours, packaging and other visual enhancements of the Products shown on our website may not match their actual product, depending on the device you use to view them. We have tried our best to present the products as realistically as possible, but we cannot guarantee that they will look the same on your device. The Products you receive may have slight differences from the ones in the images. These differences are not part of the Contract and do not affect your rights.
4.2 We have a limited supply of Products on our website. We try our best to remove the Products from our website or mark them as “out of stock” when they are no longer available. However, if you order a Product that is out of stock, we are only responsible for refunding your payment if we cannot deliver your order at the prices shown.
5. Product Warranties
5.1 Every product that we sell come with a supplier warranty. Please note that no warranty is offered by Salton Sync beyond what the Supplier provides.
5.2.We are not obligated to assist with warranty claims to the supplier but we will do our outmost best to assist you with warranty claims.
5.3 For extended warranty, you may check with us and we will liaise with the supplier accordingly.
6. Right to make Amendments
6.1 Your right to make changes: Before finalizing your purchase, you can modify the Products you have chosen. However, If you wish to make changes after you have placed your order, please Contact Us as soon as possible. We will review your request and determine its feasibility. We will get back to you as soon as possible with our decision. If your change request is feasible, we will inform you of any adjustments to the Product Price, supply and delivery time or other necessary aspects and request your confirmation before proceeding with the changes.
6.1.2 Please note that no changes are possible once the order has been shipped. A new order will have to be place
6.2 Our right to make changes: You will be informed of any changes that we make to your order. We may make changes to the products the reasons below, but not limited to;
6.2.1 to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and
6.2.2 to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements
6.3 We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Supply or the Products at any time, but we will inform you of any changes and give you the opportunity to Contact Us and cancel the contract and get a full refund before the changes become effective.
7. Delivery of Products
7.1 Delivery Costs
7.1.1 The cost to delivery the product from us to you will be displayed in the Cart and it will be added to the total amount when you Checkout. You will see this before you Complete the Purchase Cycle.
7.1.2 The delivery costs may vary depending on your location and in some cases the size and amount of products purchased.
7.2 The Delivery
7.2.1 The product will be delivered to you as per the estimate date as confirmed during the Purchase Cyle.
7.2.1 If there are any unforeseen issues beyond our control (force majeure) that may delay the delivery of your product. You will be informed immediately. This will not qualify you for a refund.
7.2. We shall have the courier deliver the Products at the location set out in your order or such other location as we may agree to in writing (“Delivery Location”), during business hours (08:00 – 17:00, excluding public holidays and weekends). It is your responsibility to ensure that the address as set out in your order is correct.
7.3 If you are not at home at time of delivery: It is your responsibility to ensure that there is someone to take delivery of the Products at the Delivery Location. If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the Products cannot be posted through your letterbox, the courier will leave you a note informing you of how to re-arrange delivery. Additional costs may apply.
7.4 We will try to deliver the Products to you as agreed, but if you are not available to receive them or to pick them up from one of our us and you do not make an attempt to rearrange delivery or collection, You may have to pay extra fees for storing the Products and for arranging another delivery. If we cannot reach you or agree on a new delivery date within 30 days, we may cancel the contract and, You may not be eligible for a refund.
7.5 You have a right to cancel the contract if we fail to deliver on the agreed date, only if its due to the company errors. You can do so by submitting your intention in writing to us.
7.6 We will inform you if we cannot fulfill the Contract because the Products you ordered are out of stock. In that case, we will refund any payments you made within 30 (thirty) days from the date of our notice.
7.6 By accepting delivery of the Products at the agreed Delivery Location (either by signing a delivery note or taking possession of the Products) we assume you had sufficient time to examine the Products delivered and that you are satisfied with the quality and quantity of said Products.
7.7 Ownership and risk
7.7.1 The Product will become your property after we confirm that the full payment has been made and the delivery has been completed successfully.
7.7.2 Once you have possession of the product, All risk of Products shall transfer to you immediately.
8. Termination of the contract
8.1 Your rights to end the contract
8.1.1 The type of product you purchased, its condition, our performance and the timing of your termination will determine your legal rights when you cancel the Contract.
8.1.2 Depending on the nature and severity of the defect, spoilage or misrepresentation of the Product you purchased, you may be entitled to terminate the Contract legally (or to request a replacement or a partial or full refund) under certain circumstances.
8.1.3 You have the right to terminate the Contract in certain circumstances, such as when we breach our obligations or notify you of a change that affects you adversely. To exercise this right, you must inform us in writing of your decision and the reasons for it. We will then confirm the termination and any refund or compensation that you may be entitled to.
8.1.4 If you purchase any Products from our website, you have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the Products (the Cooling-off Period). The following conditions apply to the Cooling-off Period:
220.127.116.11 You will not be able to return any of the Products and get a refund if they fall under the categories mentioned in section 42(2) of the ECT Act. These categories include, but are not limited to, audio or video recordings or computer software (including games) that you or someone else opened(unsealed) or tampered with after they were delivered to you.
18.104.22.168 You will have to notify us in writing that you have changed your mind and such notice must be received by us within the Cooling-off Period.
22.214.171.124 Proof of purchase must be produced, and the Product must be undamaged and correctly packaged in original packaging.
126.96.36.199 You are responsible for paying the actual costs of returning the Products to us. We may also deduct from your refund the reasonable expenses that we have incurred from the start of the contract until we receive your cancellation notice.
188.8.131.52 If you have already paid us, we will give you back the money you paid, except for the costs that we mentioned in paragraph 184.108.40.206 above, within 30 (thirty) days from when you cancel.
220.127.116.11 You have the right to change your mind and get a refund within (7) days. The (7) Days will commence from the day the product is delivered to you or a nominated person, or or collected by you or a nominated person.
8.2 How to Cancel the contract
8.2.1 To cancel the contract you can contact us by using any information from our Contact Us page.
8.2.2 You have the obligation to send back the Products to us without delay if you terminate the contract for any reason after the Products have been delivered to you or you have taken possession of them. You must either [bring back the Products to the place where you purchased them,] or let us retrieve them from your location.
8.2.3 If you are exercising your right to change your mind you must send off the Products within 14 (fourteen) days of telling us you wish to end the Contract.
8.2.4 If you receive any Products that are defective, or not as described on our website, we will cover the cost of return shipping for you. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange for a refund or exchange.
8.2.5 We will cover the cost of return under certain circumstances, such as when we notify you of a change in the Product or these Terms of Supply that you do not agree with, when we make a mistake in the price or description of the Product, when we fail to deliver the Product on time, or when we breach our obligations under the Contract or the law.
8.3 Our right to end the contract
8.3.1 If you do not pay us on time and still do not pay us within 7 days after we send you a reminder, we have the right to terminate the Product contract by writing to you.
8.3.2 If you fail to receive or pick up the Products from our Stores within a reasonable period, as you chose when ordering, we reserve the right to terminate the contract for a Product by notifying you in writing.
8.3.3 You have an obligation to compensate us for any violation of the Contract. We will give you back the money you paid in advance for the Products we did not deliver if we terminate the Contract for any of the reasons stated above, but we can take or charge you a fair amount for the net costs we will face because of your violation.
8.3.4 In some cases, we may have to discontinue a Product that you have ordered but not yet received. If this happens, we will notify you by email at least 10 days before the Product is no longer available and we will refund you the full amount that you have paid in advance for such Product.
8.3.5 We rely heavily on suppliers for us to deliver the products to you. In some cases some products may be out of stock, and may not be update on our website on time. If you have purchased an out of stock product, we will refund you the full amount within 7 working days.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations under these Terms of Supply if such failure or delay is due to any event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, wars, civil unrest, court orders, or any other situation beyond our reasonable control, including disruptions in communication or utility services. We will not be at fault for causing such failure or delay, and we could not have avoided it by using alternative sources, contingency plans or other means.
10.1 Purchase Cycle means the process by which Products are selected from the website by you, added to the Shopping Cart by you, processed and paid for by you,
10.2 Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or an official public holiday within the Republic of South Africa;
10.3 Users mean users of our website (including you);
10.4 Shopping Cart means an electronic tool where you may place one or more Products (which will stay there for a predetermined time) which Products will eventually make up your Purchase Order;
10.5 Products means the products available for purchase on our Website, including, without limitation, notebooks, desktops, monitors, tablets, software, accessories, projectors, components, printers, consumables and all ancillary products;
